Imagine Andy Warhol a First Century B. C. Roman living in modern-day Perugia. That was my inspiration for this “old meets new” work composed of unglazed Portuguese porcelain on a hand-formed substrate. Framed in cherry with an attractive hand-poured black reveal, this work of art is perfect for any space from traditional to mid-century modern.

The original single-flower motif in black and white marble, restored in 2004, now resides in a museum in Assisi, Italy.
