This work celebrates the spring bloom of the prickly pear cactus, a true icon of Central Texas. The piece was composed en plein air and completed in the studio. Materials include Mexican smalti, glass rod, found antique stained glass, and millifiori. Attractively framed in the Ravenna style. Gold leaf frame includes an attractive black reveal that mimics the negative space found in the central motif. Framed size 11.25” x 14.25” x 1.75”. Price includes shipping and handling.
